I have illustrated over 15 books for young readers. I have designed and edited a number of those as well.

I am particularly proud of the work of editing, designing and illustrating I Said No! A kid-to-kid guide on keeping private parts private which has been Amazon’s top-selling book in its category for over ten years. Find parenting resources to help protect kids from sexual abuse at

In my animations I use text, illustration, music, sound and movement to communicate a message. Often I am explaining something my client has to offer. This has ranged from engineering services to help for victims of war crimes. Generally, in collaboration with my client, I write a script, then illustrate and animate it, casting voice-over talent and music and sound as appropriate. Please contact me for more details about the process.

I love to work closely with healers, artists and visionaries of all kinds to communicate their messages and reflect their particular energy.

My clients and I work as a team. Sometimes it is important to start by clarifying a client’s mission. Then we work together to explain and reflect that in a way that is clear and compelling.

My aim in painting portraits is to express the life of the subject, keeping spirits and watercolors fresh. I love to capture the look and energy of my subjects, to celebrate the special essence of the individual or relationship.

I am happy to work from photographs. Candid or quirky ones can sometimes make fine subjects. A  frame from a video can also make a wonderful subject.  Feel free to contact me for more details.
