I remember being utterly shocked when I encountered girl bullying and cliques in junior high school and thinking, “when I grow up I want to write about this and help other kids”. Well now I have! In fact I have written, designed an illustrated twenty innovative guides for elementary school children on counseling themes like bullying, lying, teasing and divorce. Commissioned by Boulden Publishing, these were written from a child’s perspective so are called “kid-to-kid guides”.
I am so glad that my education and training in counseling and my work creating children’s books have come together in this great project.
