Sue Ramá has illustrated over 15 books for young people for clients including Greenwillow, Philomel and Charlesbridge.

Sue studied illustration at the School of Visual Arts and literature and filmmaking at The NYU School of the Arts. She worked in Manhattan as a storyboard artist, then as a graphic designer and art director, designing packaging, advertising, promotional and corporate identity materials for a variety of clients.  Sue also has a design studio in Massachusetts.

Sue did graduate work in counseling, and she has used that background in her work with Boulden Publishing, where she has written, designed and illustrated many books, posters and games to help children with issues like self-esteem, boundaries, emotional literacy, bullying, grief and divorce. Sue has also illustrated a number of inspirational books for adults and children.
